Dr. Paravyan is a Specialist in Endodontics
Dr. Paravyan practiced medicine as a General Surgeon in Armenia.
He received his MD degree in from Yerevan State Medical University and completed his medical residency training in General Surgery at Mikaelian Institute of Surgery in Yerevan, Armenia.
Upon moving to the United States he pursued a carrier in Dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2008 from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston, SC. After graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
In 2011, Dr. Paravyan received a Certificate of Residency in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA.
Dr. Paravyan has extensive research and teaching experience. He lectures internationally and serves as an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the Endodontic Department at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Paravyan is a member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA), NC Dental Society (NCDS), Greater Fayetteville Dental Society, Tar Heel Endodontic Association (THEA), and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Paravyan is an honorary member of the Armenian Dental Association.
Dr. Paravyan currently resides in Fayetteville with his wife Tereza and son Michael. His daughter attends UNC-Chapel Hill. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling.
